[tweetmeme source=”pagetx”]Knowing full well that my husband of nearly 12 years would not buy me a Twitter @username t-shirt for Christmas, I began my quest for the perfect one myself. He would say it was silly, or worse <gasp!> geeky. But you and I know that owning the perfect Twitter @username t-shirt is a mark of excellence in the social media scene. A badge of honor. But I digress.
Case in point: I saw Sheila Scarborough wearing one. Y’all know Sheila’s cool, and only geeky in the most wonderful of ways. In fact, I blame Sheila for my insatiable need to have a Twitter @username shirt of my very own. I’ve secretly coveted hers since she wore it at #SoMeT. Damn that Sheila!
My quest began this afternoon. I perused the websites where people can make custom shirts like Zazzle, AtMe Shirt, TwitGear, and Threadless. Oh sure, there were dozens of Twitter t-shirts. All very cute. But none of them matched the mental image of my perfect shirt.
